Project Management & Post-Commissioning

A core value of Air Dynamics is to streamline effective communication. To succeed we assign layers of communication redundancy so if you need to speak with us, there is someone knowledgeable with your project available. However, to keep from crossing communication lines, we assign key personnel as “Team Leaders” to your project. These go-to individuals will be your first line of communication.

Project Manager Role at Air Dynamics

  • Account Manager: At Air Dynamics, the Account Manager is your voice and representative of Air Dynamics. They assist you with pre-purchase orders and remain with you throughout the entire process. This person will also collaborate with you following the post-commissioning process and assist with spare part orders and annual reminders to sustain your investment.
  • Project Manager: Once Air Dynamics confirms your purchase, the Account Manager will begin to take a step back allowing the Project Manager to step forward. The Project Manager will be assisting you during the purchase – post-commissioning process and then become a support point of contact afterward. This person is another layer of communication with Air Dynamics demonstrating design progress via 3D model reviews throughout the design process. They will familiarize themselves with your design criteria and company standards, managing change order requests and recommending functional design elements to ensure the design-build process runs smoothly before drawings are released and issued for construction (IFC). The Project Manager will work as the primary for QC and QA processes, travel to your site as needed, providing installation guidance and training to ensure fit up to the plant environment correctly.

Post-Commissioning Support

  • Weekly Teams Check-In: Air Dynamics will schedule weekly Microsoft Teams Check-Ins for the first 30 days of system startup. We understand that taking ownership of a state-of-the-art air and material aspiration, conveyance or dust collecting system is a lot of information to absorb in a brief period. As experts in the field, we offer support during this transition period.
  • Strategically Timed Reviews: These precisely timed transitionary services serves both the end user and Air Dynamics, the manufacturer to ensure operational normalcy and to explain system behavior to new operators and maintainers. We can also review spare part needs and general operating information.
  • Remote Troubleshooting Capability: We offer a secure encrypted VPN remote package that can integrate into the system. This optional equipment provides interconnectivity within minutes via an ethernet connection or wireless modem connection for issues needing immediate attention.
  • System Maintenance Plan & Spare Parts List: This plan offers timely replacement of consumables and filters for systems that are subject to environmental laws and critical production operations. Materials are delivered based on a recommended timeline.
We can support your operations for general maintenance techniques for the equipment and a spare part list with levels of criticality assigned to each part. As a second layer, the assigned Account Manager assists with timely reminders for recommended consumable replacements.
  • O&M Manual: Our equipment comes standard with an operations and maintenance manual. This manual encompasses general system knowledge, warranty, start-up operations, health and safety, maintenance instructions, troubleshooting guides, subassembly information, standard spare parts, and COTS items.

Testimonials Although they laughed, that didn’t faze us – we did our research and we had confidence in Air Dynamics’ application engineer we worked with.

"We’re a resource recovery company. We selected two PLĒCO 30 HP portable vacuum systems configured for bulk pickup. Our customer just laughed at us when the Air Dynamics PLĒCO vacuums showed up. They actually said, ‘they‘d never work!’ Although they laughed, that didn’t faze us – we did our research and we had confidence in Air Dynamics’ application engineer we worked with. The plant had a $100,000 central vacuum system; they even tried a “super sucker” with no decent results. The company gave up trying to recover the powdered tungsten themselves. We had their plant cleaned up in record time, even though the powdered tungsten weighed 1,150 pounds per cubic foot!"

Testimonials

"We love the vacuum and use it just about every day in our normal everyday routine. It has been a major help with maintaining clean floors and machines. We have also used it to unplug clogged pneumatic conveying lines where compressed air did not effectively work. In the past, we used brooms and compressed air to clean which caused the dust to float in the air, moving from surface to surface. The PLECO vacuum eliminates floating dust and its suction is powerful enough to get the fine dust out of the cracks and off the floor quickly. I like that it’s portable to move it where you need it."

- Eric Steigman, Owner, and Plant Manager, Small Valley Milling
Testimonials

"Daniel Lehman was so much more knowledgeable than the competition- probably more knowledgeable than anyone in the country, about industrial vacuums."

- C. Milum, Textile Company
Testimonials We recommend Air Dynamics!

"Working with Air Dynamics was an incredibly enjoyable experience for our engineering firm. They brought expertise to the table that we did not necessarily have in-house, and they conveyed it in a way that was easy for us, our shareholders, and our executives to understand. We would recommend Air Dynamics for anyone looking for a pneumatic or material handling conveying solutions."

Testimonials

"The Desert Wind is the best technology we have found for testing and calibration laboratories. We use it within the aerospace and military sectors to assist the creation of parts development and provide part of the certification needed."

- Stephane Carpentier, Dir. Innovation & Development, CTA
Testimonials

"We purchased the PLĒCO 8.5 HP vacuum for our powdered colors business. We chose this substantially built vacuum over a European import that didn’t offer what this American made system did. We purchased a second unit because the first system performed excellent even after filling the canister again and again without affecting the pressure drop across the filters at all.
