  • Aluminum; and
  • Specialty alloys upon request.

Our fabrication team supports both prototype and production work across a wide range of industries.

Optic Laser Cutting

Our Optic Laser cutting system delivers exceptional precision and repeatability for sheet metal fabrication, accommodating material sizes up to 60" × 120". Advanced fiber laser technology produces clean, accurate cuts with minimal heat-affected zones, enabling tight tolerances, superior edge quality, and efficient material utilization. This capability supports everything from prototype development to high-volume production while reducing secondary finishing requirements and accelerating turnaround times.

MIG and TIG Welding

Air Dynamics provides MIG and TIG welding services for carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminum. Our experienced welders produce strong, reliable welds for structural fabrications, sheet metal components, and complex assemblies while maintaining strict quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.

Precision Laser Welding

Laser welding provides a highly concentrated heat source that produces strong, accurate welds with minimal heat-affected zones.

Benefits include:

  • Reduced material distortion;
  • Cleaner weld appearance;
  • Minimal grinding and finishing;
  • Improved dimensional accuracy;
  • Faster production cycles; and
  • Consistent repeatability.

This process is especially valuable for stainless steel fabrication, copper, thin-gauge sheet metal, cosmetic welds, and assemblies where appearance and precision matter.

Assembly Services

We offer complete mechanical assembly services to streamline production and reduce supply chain complexity. By integrating fabricated components into finished assemblies under one roof, we help customers improve quality control, shorten lead times, and simplify project management.

Finishing Services

Our finishing services help protect fabricated components and prepare them for demanding operating environments. Our capabilities include industrial painting, powder coating, and sealant application to enhance corrosion resistance, durability, and overall product performance. By coordinating fabrication, assembly, and finishing under one roof, we help customers reduce lead times, simplify project management, and receive production-ready components from a single manufacturing partner.

Sheet Metal Forming & Press Brake Capacity

Precision forming is essential to producing high-quality fabricated assemblies.

Our brake press capabilities allow us to accurately form components ranging from simple brackets and panels to complex fabricated structures used in industrial equipment and process systems.

Applications include:

  • Equipment housings;
  • Access doors;
  • Structural supports;
  • Transition pieces;
  • Ductwork components; and
  • Custom fabricated assemblies.

Plate Rolling & Custom Metal Forming

Many industrial systems require curved, rolled, or formed components that cannot be produced through standard bending operations alone.

Our rolling and forming equipment allows us to manufacture:

  • Cylindrical sections;
  • Rolled duct components;
  • Cones and transitions;
  • Curved panels;
  • Tanks and vessels; and
  • Custom formed assemblies.

These capabilities support both standalone fabrication projects and larger turnkey manufacturing programs.

Typical Material Thicknesses

Depending on material type and application requirements, Air Dynamics routinely processes:

MaterialTypical Range
Stainless SteelThin gauge through heavy plate applications
Carbon SteelThin gauge through heavy plate applications
AluminumLight gauge through structural thicknesses
Galvanized SteelLight to medium gauge fabrication

Testimonials

"We love the vacuum and use it just about every day in our normal everyday routine. It has been a major help with maintaining clean floors and machines. We have also used it to unplug clogged pneumatic conveying lines where compressed air did not effectively work. In the past, we used brooms and compressed air to clean which caused the dust to float in the air, moving from surface to surface. The PLECO vacuum eliminates floating dust and its suction is powerful enough to get the fine dust out of the cracks and off the floor quickly. I like that it’s portable to move it where you need it."

- Eric Steigman, Owner, and Plant Manager, Small Valley Milling
Testimonials

"Daniel Lehman was so much more knowledgeable than the competition- probably more knowledgeable than anyone in the country, about industrial vacuums."

- C. Milum, Textile Company
Testimonials We recommend Air Dynamics!

"Working with Air Dynamics was an incredibly enjoyable experience for our engineering firm. They brought expertise to the table that we did not necessarily have in-house, and they conveyed it in a way that was easy for us, our shareholders, and our executives to understand. We would recommend Air Dynamics for anyone looking for a pneumatic or material handling conveying solutions."

- L. Samuelson, Engineer, power company
Testimonials

"The Desert Wind is the best technology we have found for testing and calibration laboratories. We use it within the aerospace and military sectors to assist the creation of parts development and provide part of the certification needed."

- Stephane Carpentier, Dir. Innovation & Development, CTA
Testimonials

"We purchased the PLĒCO 8.5 HP vacuum for our powdered colors business. We chose this substantially built vacuum over a European import that didn’t offer what this American made system did. We purchased a second unit because the first system performed excellent even after filling the canister again and again without affecting the pressure drop across the filters at all.

- G. Maynard, A Powdered Color Products Firm
Testimonials

"Technical support to design and evaluation of dust control / vacuum systems was stellar. Proposal and services associated with selected option are amazing. Product and service exceeds expectations."

- J. Paradis, Director of EH&S, USA Recycle
Testimonials

"The Air Dynamics’ dust collector is an excellent vacuum and has never cost us any downtime – it works great. Of all the vacuums I have ever used in the industry, it is the most robust - zero maintenance issues running 20+ hours a week with multiple users."

- R. Mason, Plant Manager, a plastics manufacturing company
Testimonials

"We’ve connected the vacuum hoses to our grinders and tried them out for the first time in last night’s shop class. The draw across all 5 dust collector machines is amazing! We are very pleased and praise your team for a job well done!"

- C. Zimmerman, Manufacturer’s Association
Testimonials Although they laughed, that didn’t faze us – we did our research and we had confidence in Air Dynamics’ application engineer we worked with.

"We’re a resource recovery company. We selected two PLĒCO 30 HP portable vacuum systems configured for bulk pickup. Our customer just laughed at us when the Air Dynamics PLĒCO vacuums showed up. They actually said, ‘they‘d never work!’ Although they laughed, that didn’t faze us – we did our research and we had confidence in Air Dynamics’ application engineer we worked with. The plant had a $100,000 central vacuum system; they even tried a “super sucker” with no decent results. The company gave up trying to recover the powdered tungsten themselves. We had their plant cleaned up in record time, even though the powdered tungsten weighed 1,150 pounds per cubic foot!"

- M. Hakli – resource recovery firm
