These processes are called “specific operations” as referred to by the American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists. There are as many dust collection equipment configurations as there are industrial operations.


Air Dynamics is a certified designer of Industrial Ventilation Systems. In order to pass an OSHA inspection of a facility’s industrial ventilation system, OSHA uses criteria found in the Industrial Ventilation, Manual of Recommended Practice as published by www.ACGIH.org

Bin Vent Dust Collectors

Our units are constructed from 11-gauge carbon steel, fully welded with bar stock stiffeners for heavy industrial use. Systems also feature welded, heavy gauge, direct drive industrial grade BI fans with high efficiency TEFC motors where required.Our units feature a proprietary low-pressure drop construction resulting in lower energy consumption.

Cartridge Filter Dust Collectors

Our cartridge filter dust collector systems incorporate a low-pressure drop design resulting in 30 to 50% less energy consumption. This feature reduces maintenance requirements and lowers operating costs compared to traditional designs. The wide cartridge filter spacing and vertical cleaning method reduces re-entry of dust and extends the life of the filters.

Fabric Filter Dust Collectors

Our fabric filter dust collector systems incorporate a low-pressure drop across the unit resulting in 30 to 70% less energy consumption. This feature reduces maintenance requirements and lowers operating costs compared to traditional bag-house design. We guarantee our complete dust collection system design to be the most energy efficient available. 

Portable Dust Collectors

The Max Mobilair portable weld fume and dust-filtering unit comprises a high energy efficient, aluminum (non-sparking) backward inclined blower wheel and TEFC motors as standard equipment on most models. Robustly designed and constructed, it will stand up and perform in the harshest environments and continue to offer the highest level of satisfaction throughout the life of the equipment.
